Retail Outlet Sales Reporting API with 3rd Party Integration Manual
Solaire had a 6-year persistent audit finding recommendation from Internal Audit - to integrate retail outlets Sales Reporting
into the Solaire Peoplesoft ERP so that the outlets can't manipulate their sales reports.
Solaire has percentage revenues from them as part of their lease agreements.
The solution was actually very simple, I developed and rolled-out a simple API with Third-Party Integration Manual to guide the developers of 40+ Retail Outlets like Gucci, Louie Vuitton, Starbucks, etc to electronically submit their daily sales reports into the Peoplesoft ERP regardless of which brand of POS System they have. I fought for this up to the top, because I believed in this solution.
All outlets rolled-out!
